Level 1 is a great starting point for anyone curious about the world of freediving. The goal of the course is to create a strong foundation to build off, so it suits complete beginners and people with plenty of water time but no formal training.

We keep the atmosphere friendly and non-competitive — the right environment to learn and improve at your own pace.

You will learn freediving theory, physiology, equalisation, breathing techniques for relaxation and nervous system regulation, plus essential safety protocols for diving with a buddy.

“I did the freediving course with Freedive Rote and it was such an interesting and amazing experience. I highly recommend anyone who wants to get more confidence in the water, or who is genuinely interested in getting more knowledge about breath hold, to do this course.”
